Motion-driven video wall

From wall to wall, these animations roll by on a stroll.

Porton Group

We created one of the world’s largest Kinect controlled video walls: an unprecedented nine meters long. Two Microsoft Kinect's capture the movements of people passing by it, and control the video on the wall, showcasing the investment programs of the Porton Group.

We created all of the wall’s interactive 3D animations, which are triggered when someone passes the wall and unfold at the walking pace of the viewer. This ensures that the viewer is always at the center of the animation. Furthermore, gesture recognition allows the viewer himself to influence the animation.

The animations shown on the wall depend on the interest or industry of the visitor; the selection is controlled by the receptionist.
