For the Abu Dhabi Regulation and Supervision Bureau (RSB) we designed and developed the content for a permanent installation consisting of several large (108”) multi-touch screens in their head office. The presentation explains energy and water production and consumption cycles in an appealing way. Viewers can navigate an intuitive virtual map to discover interesting information and facts about every step of the processes.
We used a range of graphical elements from simple diagrams and images to full cycle simulation animations to explain every process. We pulled out all the stops using both 2D and 3D techniques to convey the wealth of information that RSB wanted to share. The application was designed to be operated intuitively; viewers do not need any instruction to use it. In addition, the application can also be accessed online in an HTML5 version and on iPad and other tablet devices.
