Masdar asked us to produce a video about Masdar City. The video had to present this free zone as an innovative, dynamic and business-friendly environment.
Narrative framework
To provide a framework for showcasing Masdar City, we created a visual narrative of a man on his way to register his business there. Along the way, buildings and facilities that define Masdar City’s unique character are shown, while a voice-over explains their benefits. To clarify certain abstract notions, we added several 2D and 3D animations.
After the initial release, Masdar commissioned several 30-seconds TV commercials based on the film, which were subsequently aired on CNN, Abu Dhabi TV, Abu Dhabi One and National Geographic Abu Dhabi.
