ExxonMobil’s immersive racing experience attracted crowds at the ADIPEC trade fair. The installation gave participants a chance to race against one another through 5 laps around a miniature race course.
The track was built around the booth and included 2 small remote-controlled Formula 1 cars. To further immerse the participants, race car seats equipped with a steering wheel, pedals and VR headsets were used to give a first-person view inside the cars.
The fastest laps were broadcast for all to see. The daily top 5 racers were also displayed to attract ambitious F1 adepts.
