Every port is an extremely busy place with lots of concurrent activities and all kinds of materials and goods. It's a working environment that comes with more risks than your average office, so appropriate training to deal with those risks is crucial to safeguard operators and workers. The Port of Antwerp commissioned a VR (virtual reality) training to teach basic firefighting techniques in typical warehouse environments. The result is a highly immersive exercise in combatting fire, without the heat.
