Fost Plus is the Belgian organization responsible for the collection, sorting and recycling of household packaging waste, including the blue PMD bag (Plastic and Metal packaging and Drink cartons).
To raise awareness about the importance of correct PMD sorting, Fost Plus commissioned us to create an informative website that perfectly complements the physical "Blue Bag Box".
The box contains packaging, granules, and a floor plan of a sorting centre, to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the circular economy.
In the initial phase, the boxes were distributed to all waste intermunicipalities, for use in informational sessions. The intention is for the workshop facilitator to use the box and be supported by the website. Facilitators can tell the story based on their own knowledge or be supported by the topics on the website and the avatar that narrates the story. The site also includes videos and quizzes to maintain interactivity.
The website is bilingual and uses an AI-generated avatar to facilitate future updates and language versions.
