While successfully combining game-like fun and strong sales arguments, the AR app we created for Caterpillar demonstrated hands-on the effect of the advanced operator assistance systems in the CAT equipment. Visitors were able to compare operations with and without these technologies.
The app was also useful for lead generation, with the inclusion of a contact option. The app was made publicly available through app stores, and a Chinese version further expanded the audience reach.
