Reverse AR in the hospitality industry

Jumeirah Group took an augmented approach on the Arabian Travel Market.

Jumeirah Group showcased five beautiful properties. Taking advantage of the latest interactive multimedia solutions, they moved away from the traditional method of building physical models of each property.

As part of a reverse Augmented Reality, we created a marker for each property. Visitors could choose which property they wanted to know more about, holding the marker up towards the screen. The camera attached to the screen was programmed to recognize the picture on the marker and produce a 3D model of the property, with all the relevant information.
