Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA) embarked on an ambitious project to rename the streets of Abu Dhabi City. Getting the general public onboard was crucial, so the DMA asked us to produce a video to explain what the project entailed.
Filming in Abu Dhabi
We merged footage from the streets of both Abu Dhabi’s bustling center as well as a quiet residential area with 3D graphic elements to tell a captivating story. Fortunately, when shooting in the busy streets of Abu Dhabi City we were helped by the police, which even cleared a part of the Corniche road for us. Elevated shots from the roof of a 30-story building, an aerial drone and a helicopter provided crucial images to convey the benefits of the new addressing system.
